Lessons and Camps

Riding Lessons:

Our riding lessons are geared towards helping you reach your individual riding goals as we teach a balanced seat, soft hands and how to communicate with your four-legged partner in or out of the saddle. Our experienced riding instructors are sensitive to the needs of our clients  and try to get to know them each personally and have built relationships based on trust and respect. We offer a wide array of diverse disciplines including in Dressage, Western Pleasure and Hunt Seat

SPECIALIZING IN THE BEGINNER AND ADULT RIDERS

Lesson Information:

Ages 7 and up

Beginner children must take private lessons and be able to walk/trot before joining a group. Children ages 5-6 are considered on an individual basis and must schedule a visit to the barn.

• Private 1/2 hour:* $35.00
• Private 1 hour: $50.00
• Group lesson** (2 – 4 riders): $35.00 per hour per person
*Private 1/2 hr students must be able to independently get & tack their own horse & be proficient at walk /trot (1/2 lessons are scheduled per Instructor’s approval)
**Group lessons based on availability; riders must be at beginner (independent) walk/trot level

Grooming, tacking up & basic horsemanship / safety methods are included into lessons. If a student is independent in basic ground skills, grooming & tacking up, they may arrive 15 minutes earlier to do so. Students are also required to clean their tack and take care of their horse before leaving.

Package Deals!
• 6 Private lessons: $270
• 6 Group lessons: $180

All riders are required to have an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet, wear long pants or breeches and a closed toe shoe or boot with a low heel. Facility does have some helmets available for use.

*Cancellation Policy: To avoid session fees a 24 hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

Adult Women Riders Group:
Sundays 10:30am-12:00pm

This group will meet for 90 minutes and will include stretching exercises for horse and rider in an effort to promote a healthy and fun lifestyle! No experience required. Helmets are available. Participants should wear jeans and a closed to shoe or boot with a small heel and be willing to commit to 4 weeks. Cost: $40 per person or pre-pay 4 weeks for $140.  Limited to 4 participants to ensure quality so sign up early!

Summer Day Programs

Week long programs designed to give any child a solid basic foundation and introduction into the wonderful world of horses! Daily activities all based on horses and the care they need along with structured daily riding and summer fun games. All campers are required to bring a bag lunch, snacks and water bottle. They must wear a closed toe shoe (with a heel if possible) and jeans for riding and may bring a change of cloths if desired. A bathing suit and towel are suggested items as well for very hot days. A small selection of helmets are also available for use so bring your ASTM approved helmet if you have one.

Cost: $325 per child (ages 7–17 years)
$100 non-refundable deposit per child, per week required to hold camper’s spot.

Discounts: $25 off for multiple weeks OR multiple children–after initial $325 per child or week
